Perry Dissmore, pastor of Bear Creek Assembly of God in Panama City, Florida broke the World Record by over 260 baskets. He connected on 1926 baskets in one hour to defeat the former record held by Fred Newman. His record was 1663.

Perry attended North Central Bible College in Minneapolis, Minnesota from 1989 to 1993, played on the basketball team and was an All-American. Now he is married (Nicole) and has 3 wonderful children.

He is currently using his talents to help further the work of BGMC to help needs around the world, especially those in the Asia Pacific. Current projects he is helping:

Fountain of Life in Haskova, Bulgaria
Joyland in Kenya for Children
Job Skill Training in Pakistan for Women

Perry is 38 years old and has been preparing now for some time to get ready for this event. The event took place October 9 in Marianna, Florida at Chipola College in front of a great crowd of people.
